Andrew Shepard, AIA (Atlanta)

Mr. Shepard has over thirty years of design and construction experience in architecture, real estate development, construction, and project management environments. Acting as the principal of a design/build construction firm, Mr. Shepard has been directly responsible for all aspects of design and construction of a wide range of residential and commercial projects. He has extensive experience and knowledge of issues pertaining to design, acquisition and entitlement,
cost estimating, project and construction management and quality assurance analysis. Throughout his career, Mr. Shepard has interacted with owners, developers, government officials, architects, engineers and contractors. While practicing architecture and acting in the capacity of Project Architect for numerous Corps of Engineers projects, he gained extensive experience and is very familiar with the methodologies and procedures generally associated with governmental
assignments. His experience in the private sector has included numerous design projects of residential, commercial, sports and recreational facilities throughout the Southeast.

Eric Belecanech (Atlanta)

Mr. Belecanech has over seventeen years of experience in architectural design, project management, construction administration and building condition assessment. His previous experience in multidisciplinary A&E firms has provided him a solid background with an integrated approach to civil, structural, and mechanical engineering with the architectural process.  He has significant experience in assuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act at both the design and renovation phases.  Further experience as an owner’s representative has given Mr. Belecanech the skills necessary to maintain an owner’s interest throughout the design, construction and maintenance of a building or complex of structures.  His experience covers retail, low-rise office, medical office, religious, industrial / warehouse pre-engineered structures, telecommunications facilities and government services complexes.

Robin Boswell (Tampa)

Mr. Boswell has over fifteen years experience in evaluating building engineering systems. He began his career with McDonnell Douglas Corporation as a Facility Engineer in Long Beach, CA and subsequently returned to Georgia after four years. Working with major corporations in the Atlanta area, including Dittler Brothers, Proctor & Gamble and Sony, Mr. Boswell gained extensive knowledge relating to building mechanical systems and was fully responsible for facilities management. Additionally, in the capacity of project manager on numerous facility renovation projects, Mr. Boswell was fully responsible for design, cost estimating, equipment upgrade determination and replacement of mechanical equipment components at the various facilities under his control. Additionally, he directed the design of energy efficient systems for integrated building efficiency as well as training staff in the proper operation of systems and establishing maintenance programs.


David Brown (Knoxville)

Mr. Brown has over ten years experience in evaluating building engineering systems including existing structures and projects in the construction and planning phase. Mr. Brown worked for several years in various capacities on new construction projects located throughout the southeast United States.
Concentrating primarily on projects located throughout the southeast, Mr. Brown is highly experienced in income property assessment and evaluation of deferred maintenance issues, particularly mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems. Mr. Brown has performed property assessment on all types of income property projects, which include; office, hospitality, multifamily and retail.


Edward X. Carlson, AIA- RA (Denver)

Mr. Carlson has over twenty-five years experience in design and construction, architecture, real estate development, construction, and project management environments. Acting as a principal of a multi-disciplinary architectural consulting firm, Mr. Carlson has been directly responsible for all aspects of design and construction of a wide range of residential and commercial projects. He has
extensive experience and knowledge of issues pertaining to design, component specifications, cost estimating, project and construction management and quality assurance analysis. Throughout his career, Mr. Carlson has interacted with owners, developers, government officials, architects, engineers and contractors in the Southern California real estate industry. While practicing architecture and acting in the capacity of Project Architect for numerous residential, multi-family and commercial projects, he gained extensive insight with the methodologies and procedures generally associated with quality specification and  construction techniques.


Steve Eifert (Atlanta)

Mr. Eifert has over fifteen years of experience working in architectural and engineering firms in the Atlanta area where he gained a vast knowledge related to the actual production of design and construction documents.  Mr. Eifert has also worked for several years as a design/build contractor on residential and commercial projects.  Steve was responsible for design, cost estimating and construction management on these projects along with client interface.  He was also responsible for the project permitting process along with inspections coordination, project closeout and occupancy.  Steve also has extensive experience and knowledge related to paint coating and systems gained as an interior/exterior paint contractor.

Raymond A. Fine, PE

As a twenty-two year veteran of the construction industry, Mr. Fine has had experience in all phases of the mechanical field, including consulting engineering, field supervision, project management and cost estimation. Mr. Fine has worked with projects in commercial, institutional, governmental as well as private sectors.
Mr. Fine has worked on projects as diverse as the $250 million Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta; the FORSCOM world-wide Command and Control Building, Ft. McPherson, GA; a major expansion of the Tennessee River Pulp and Paper Mill in Counch, Tennessee; and expansion of Heathrow Airport, London. In addition to developing expertise in many different types of systems, Mr. Fine has experience in “fast track” projects, budget problem resolutions and value engineering.


Theodore A. Garren (Newport Beach)

With more than twenty years experience as an accounts manager, Mr. Garren has developed a strong attention to detail and understands the importance of addressing a Client’s needs in a timely manner. Upon graduation from the School of Business with an emphasis in Finance, Mr. Garren served as a National Bank Examiner with the U.S. Treasury Department on assignments located
throughout the United States. He subsequently spent over a decade in the brokerage industry as an Account Executive with Merrill Lynch, DLJ, and Prudential Securities.


Wendy Meschkow-Gross, RA (California/Arizona)

Ms. Gross is a licensed architect with experience in facilities, project and construction management. She is well versed in the design and construction industry and general architectural practice. She has a proven record of project management and the ability to provide clients with a wide array of services.
Ms. Gross has twelve years of experience performing Pre-construction Document Reviews, Construction Monitoring, Building Engineering Assessments, and Property Condition Surveys, for national real estate and project management companies. She has approximately four years experience as a Construction Manager of institutional and governmental projects and seven years experience as a project architect/facilities manager in corporate, healthcare, telecommunications, and military/secure facilities.

Bradley L. Kramer (Atlanta)

Mr. Kramer began his career with Asset Advisory Services, Inc. upon graduation from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a B.S. in Building Construction, with Honor, and a minor in Land Development in May, 2005.  Throughout college, he worked on large-scale commercial construction projects with an industry-leading General Contractor, acquiring extensive knowledge regarding construction management and constructability issues. With Asset Advisory Services Inc., Mr. Kramer has utilized his professional and academic experiences to conduct property condition assessments of multi-family, retail, office, and industrial properties.  Additionally, he has and continues to be involved with the construction of mixed-use multi-family/retail developments in the Southeast.


W. Wes Keusder (Los Angeles/Newport Beach)

Mr. Keusder has twenty plus years experience in real estate development and contracting. As a partner/owner, Mr. Keusder’s experience in residential development (single and multi-family housing), and commercial development has resulted in project values in excess of $100,000,000. Also during that time period, he gained experience in contracting street improvements for public works in excess of $20,000,000 and more recently, earthquake repairs and retrofits with bothresidential and commercial properties.


Henry H. Miller, AIA (Boston)

With over twenty years of design and project management experience in architecture and engineering, Mr. Miller has been directly responsible for all aspects of design and construction management of a wide range of commercial and institutional projects. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for both private and public sector assignments working within a design/build construction environment and as an independent architect. Responsibilities have included all aspects of a design practice including facility programming, architectural design, contract administration, budgeting, scheduling, and field inspection. This experience has given Mr. Miller extended knowledge of issues pertaining to design development, cost estimating, project and construction management and quality assurance.

Barry L. Rafter, RA (San Francisco)

Mr. Rafter has twenty-five years of real estate, design and construction experience in architecture, construction, program management and project management. Acting as the team leader of project development teams, Mr. Rafter has been directly responsible for all aspects of design and construction of a wide range of residential and commercial projects. He has extensive experience and knowledge of issues pertaining to design, acquisition and entitlement, cost estimating, project and construction management and quality assurance analysis.


Robert B. Woodall, III (Washington, DC)

Mr. Woodall has over twenty-five years of design and construction experience in architecture and construction management environments. Acting as the project captain of numerous large-scale commercial projects, Mr. Woodall has been directly responsible for all aspects of design and construction observation for a wide range of residential and commercial projects. He has extensive experience and knowledge of issues pertaining to design, building systems, cost estimating,
project and construction management as well as quality assurance analysis.
